Question for Christians regarding evidence, part 4: is a religion's existence evidence that it is true?

Is the existence of Scientology evidence that it is true? We know that religion was purposely invented by L.Ron Hubbard. We have good data that Mormonism is an 'invented' religion. That's just in recent times. What are we to think of a religion created two millenia ago, when superstition was rampant?
