Not enough info. You invested �5000. At what price? You should know how many shares you hold (if not �5000 divided by price, allowing for charges). You would not have received anything unless you sold the shares on 20th Nov 2009 (again you should know the selling price) . Were there any dividends in this period? We don't know what stock you are talking about so can't really help. Presumably you bought about 950 shares and they would be worth, on 20/11 about, �5500 less buying and selling costs. (very approximate)
