Trying to figure out the name of a movie?

PLEASE EXCUSE ME IF I'M WRONG. This is how I remember the film: natives were captured from their home. one man's pregnant wife and child had to hide in a hole in the ground to escape being captured. different things happened to them along the way. a group of them went to a city of some sorts and were painted blue then decapitated. some had a chance to get away by running from arrows.the main man escaped the arrows and somehow came to a jungle where i think that he turned into a panther to get away from the people chasing him. meanwhile the hole that the woman and child were in started to flood. the man came back and somehow rescued his family from the hole.
